I recently purchased an existing home. In the rush of the transaction, move, etc., the previous owner did not leave the system’s access code. I have contacted the Real Estate agent(s) in an attempt to track down the previous owner to obtain the code.
It has been almost a month; I am losing confidence that I will be able to retrieve the code through this means. I downloaded the user’s manual. It discusses changing the code, not how to reset the system code. I tried the default system access code, it has been changed. I called ADT.
They said they could reset the system and sent out a technician. When he arrived, he said that he did not know how to perform this task. Is there a way to reset the system code (similar to resetting the BIOS of a computer system)? System: Concord Express (installed by ADT, and posses the ADT emblem on both key pads). The problem you may have is that if there isn't an alphanumeric keypad, then there may not be a way to do what you need to do at the keypad.
